We are doing our best to provide guests with the full Lang House experience. However, considering the new COVID-19 operating guidelines, some services and hours of operation may be adjusted for the health and safety of you and our staff members. Before making a reservation request with us, you must review the Vermont travel guidelines and restrictions to determine your travel eligibility. We do not make the rules, we just follow them. We would appreciate your commitment to safety as well.
State of Vermont Travel Restrictions
Currently reservations can be made by Vermont residents and travelers from neighboring state counties with similar active caseloads to Vermont. Please check that your county is safe to travel from. The Cross State Travel Information and Map can be found here. The map is updated every Tuesday at noon.
If you are coming from a high-risk area not identified as having a similarly low active COVID-19 caseload as that in Vermont (YELLOW OR RED COUNTY), you must complete the necessary quarantine prior to arriving.
Travelers may complete either: (1) complete a 14-day quarantine; or (2) complete a 7-day quarantine followed by a negative test – in their home state and enter Vermont without further quarantine restrictions if they drive directly from their homes to their Vermont destinations in their personal vehicles.
**Travelers arriving to Vermont via public transportation (plane, train, bus) or from farther than a direct car ride would allow may complete either a 14-day quarantine or a 7-day quarantine followed by a negative test in a Vermont lodging establishment (Not the Lang House) or with friends and family (travelers must stay in their quarantine location for the duration of quarantine other than to travel to and from a test site)**
Upon arrival you will need to complete the Be Smart Stay Safe Guest Certificate of Compliance and Lang House Health Questionnaire.
All out-of-state guests need to register with the Sara Emergency Alert System to obtain daily reminders via text, email, or phone from the Vermont Department of Health. This should be done the day you travel to Vermont.
All guests will be required to wear masks in all common areas. You must provide your own mask. We have hand sanitizer strategically placed around the inn. We ask that you use it immediately upon arrival.

Lang House COVID-19 Response
We have always taken great pride in our clean and well-appointed guest bedrooms. In light of this pandemic, we are doing even more to enhance our cleaning and sanitizing procedures to help reduce the spread of the virus. We are are adhering to the Vermont Health Department’s guidance for the food and lodging industry, the CDC’s cleaning and disinfecting guidance, as well as American Hotel & Lodging Association “STAY SAFE” program.
We ask that all guests be responsible by staying home if they are experiencing any symptoms of the virus or have been in recent contact with an infected person.
We will have limited hours and staffing until further notice. Things might look and feel a little different around the inn, but our hospitality remains the same.
Thanks so much for your patronage and understanding.

Additionally, masks or facial coverings are required at all times in public places (indoor and outdoor) in the state of Vermont. Dining reservations (indoor and outdoor) are also required.
To ensure all of our guests have the most memorable experience we ask that you take a moment to review the Inn’s policies listed below.
Room Rates: Our room rates are based on single or double occupancy. A full breakfast is served each morning to guests, and it is included in the room rate. Room rates vary throughout the year. Use the online booking engine to see room prices for your dates of interest.
DEPOSIT: We are not taking deposits for new reservations. We require a credit card to hold your room for you.
Online bookings require a 3-day notice from today. For same day reservations or if you have a Lang House Gift Certificate or a credit in any amount please e-mail or call the inn.
CANCELLATION POLICY: We are trying to be as flexible as possible during these trying times. We understand that the State of Vermont Travel Restrictions and Guidelines dictate who can safely travel to our state. We ask that you be mindful that we are a small business trying really hard to keep our head above the water. If a guest shortens a reserved stay after arrival at the Lang House, the guest will be responsible for any room nights that we are unable to rebook.
There will be no deposit refunds for weather-related cancellations, including cancelled airline flights.
Minimum Stays: A two-night-minimum reservation is required on all weekends from June 1st through October 31st as well as for other National holiday weekends and some special event weekends.
