Each morning guests enjoy ample coffee or tea and orange, white grapefruit or cranberry juices.  Breakfast begins with a starter, which might be scone, muffin, coffeecake, sweet bread or smoothie.  Following the starter guests are offered three breakfast entrees – a creative egg-based dish such as Panini sandwiches or popovers; a sweet dish such as pancakes, waffles, French toast or crepes; or Lang House nutty granola with milk or yogurt and fruit.  We offer breakfast meats that are made in Vermont or New Hampshire (apple wood smoked bacon and ham, maple link sausage and smoked chicken sausage).

Guests who have dietary restrictions (e.g., gluten sensitivity, celiac disease, dairy or nut allergy) or follow a strict vegan diet should inform us in advance of arriving at the Lang House.

Breakfast meats are always offered as a side option; vegetarians are always accommodated.

If you do not wish to order one of the entrées as described, you may elect to have simply prepared eggs, toast and the daily meat option or yogurt and fruit.

Breakfast is served between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. daily in the dining room and sun porch.  There are six dining tables that accommodate two, three or four guests each.

Even though we serve breakfast on a first-come and first-served basis, we respectfully request that guests sign up for breakfast so that we may ensure that all guests are comfortably accommodated.  If guests need to depart before breakfast service commences we accommodate them by providing a to-go breakfast.

Every afternoon cookies or brownies are available in the inn dining room for guests to help themselves.  Cookies are delivered to the Garden spa and Carriage House as well.
