Breakfast at our Burlington, VT B&B
Each morning guests enjoy ample coffee or tea and orange or cranberry juices. Breakfast begins with a starter, which might be a scone, muffin, coffeecake, sweet bread or smoothie. Following the starter, guests are offered three breakfast entrées – a creative egg-based dish such as a frittata or scrambled eggs with popovers; a sweet dish such as pancakes, waffles, French toast or crepes. Our homemade Lang House Nutty Granola with milk or yogurt and fruit is also available daily. We offer breakfast meats that are made in Vermont or New Hampshire (one option is offered daily; apple wood smoked bacon and ham, maple link sausage and house-made pork sausage patty).
Guests who have dietary restrictions, including gluten sensitivity, celiac disease, dairy or nut allergy, or follow a strict vegan diet should inform us in advance of arriving at the Lang House. Vegetarians are always accommodated. If you do not wish to order one of the entrées, you may elect to have simply prepared eggs, toast and the daily meat option or yogurt and fruit.
Breakfast is served between 7:45 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. daily in the dining room and sun porch, which host six dining tables that accommodate two, three or four guests each. Even though we serve breakfast on a first-come and first-served basis, we respectfully request that guests sign up for breakfast so that we may ensure that all guests are comfortably accommodated. If guests need to depart early, we are happy to provide a convenient and delicious breakfast of granola, fruit, and yogurt to-go.
