Grand Point North 2014, Coming to a Waterfront Near You

Do you know Grace Potter & the Nocturnals
She’s a pretty big deal, right?
Well, did you know that she’s from Waitsfield, Vermont, just a hop-skip-jump away from Burlington? Since 2010, Grace and the Nocturnals have been showing their home state some serious love with Grand Point North, a two-day festival Sept. 13th & 14th down at the waterfront of local and national musical acts.

Grace Potter & the Nocturnals - Grand Point North

This year’s line-up is exceptionally outstanding, featuring the likes of The War on Drugs, Lucius, Trampled by Turtles, and of course, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals. One of our favorite local bands, Swale, will also be hitting the main stage Saturday evening. And what would a Burlington festival be without local food? Grand Point Local, a collection of food stands, will feature some of our favorites, like the Skinny Pancake, Bluebird BBQ, Pingala Cafe, The Hindquarter, and more!

Two-day passes, as well as single-day passes for Saturday and Sunday, are still available on the Grand Point North website. Snag ‘em while they’re still available!

The music and the ambiance are pretty family friendly, and children under 12 get in free.

The Lang House is only a short (and free!) bus ride away if you take the College Street shuttle from Willard Street down to the waterfront. Join us in our relaxing Burlington Bed and Breakfast… it’s the perfect way to end a day of fun and music!

Here are some of our favorite songs from the featured bands:

And Burlington rockers Swale are playing the 4th Annual Cambridge Music Festival this Saturday, September 6th, if you feel like taking a break from gallery-hopping down on Pine Street.
