Vincent is not just the smallest of the 11 guest bedrooms; it is hands-down, the coziest Lang House guest bedroom in our bed and breakfast in Burlington, VT. The room was painted green – believed to be the color of balance — in order to increase guests’ sense of restoration and peace. It must do the trick – the Vincent room is one of the inn’s most occupied guest bedrooms. One frequent visitor has stayed in the Vincent room more than 40 times over the years.
The room has a queen-sized bed, with an ivory-colored matelassé headboard (no footboard). A skylight, with curtain, is located just above the bed. The sloping, attic ceilings contribute to this third-floor bedroom’s inherent sense of intimacy and serenity. For reading or relaxing by the west-facing dormer window is a cane-seated rocking chair. A chest of drawers and an armoire provide ample storage for guests’ belongings.
Separated from the bedroom by an antique pocket door with glazed glass panels is the adjoining, private shower bathroom.
