301 Tuttle Room $169-229 Per Night
Quaint, slanted ceilings grace The Tuttle Room, a decidedly old-fashioned room on the inn’s third floor. It is one of two wallpapered guest bedrooms in this Burlington inn. The color palette is warm and inviting. The windows are draped with brown, velvet curtains. An east-facing dormer window and two south-facing windows allow for morning and afternoon sun, making this room a particularly cozy and cheery one.
The painted, queen-sized bed is nestled under the angle of the roof. There is a twin day-bed, which provides space for reading a book, working on your portable device, or it can be made up to accommodate an additional guest.
When the house was converted to a bed and breakfast inn, a number of bathroom innovations needed to be made. The Tuttle bathroom is one example: the bathroom sink is installed in an antique dresser, which is located in a corner of the guest bedroom. The toilet and shower are private; they are separated from the room by a pocket door.
