301 Tuttle Room $169-229 Per Night
Quaint, slanted ceilings grace the Tuttle Room, a decidedly old-fashioned, third-floor guest bedroom. Wallpapered for many years, it was redecorated in 2015 (removed the wallpaper and wall-to-wall carpeting). Now It’s a bright and inviting room with new hardwood flooring and a new color palette. An east-facing dormer window and two south-facing windows allow for morning and afternoon sun, making this room a particularly cheery one.
The painted, queen-size bed is nestled under the angle of the roof. A twin day-bed can be made up to accommodate an additional guest.
When the house was converted to a bed and breakfast inn, a number of bathroom innovations needed to be made. The Tuttle bathroom is one such example. The bathroom sink, a new and big pedestal sink, is installed in a corner of the room. The toilet and shower are private; they are separated from the room by a pocket door.
