We have an on-line concierge service where guests can order in advance of their arrival such amenities as: wine, flowers, chocolates and breakfast in bed. The Lang House offers a full range of event planning services and we are pleased to recommend restaurants and make reservations, and always have suggestions for activities in and around Burlington, VT. Guest RoomsAll guest rooms have private baths and are well stocked with soap, shampoo, lotion, and towels. Also hanging in each guest room are Lang House robes, which guests can enjoy during their stay (they are also for sale). We have available for guest use hair dryers, irons and ironing boards. We keep a small stock of personal supplies in the event guests find themselves without toothbrushes, etc. Each room has an air conditioner and thermostat for heat regulation, to keep your room at a temperature comfortable for you. All guest rooms have a telephone (local calls are free of charge), small television with cable service, dial-up and/or wireless internet access, and alarm clocks. A portable crib is available, and we can set up cots in some guest rooms. The Garden Spa and Tuttle room can accommodate three guests, while McClurkin can accommodate 4 guests. Off-street parking is provided for guests in our private lot just behind the main house. BreakfastWe serve breakfast between 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. in the first floor Dining Room and Sun Porch. Three breakfast options are available every morning: homemade low-fat granola served with a Vermont organic non-fat vanilla yogurt and fresh fruit; an egg dish which might be herb scrambled, poached, fried or souffléd; and pancakes, French toast, crepes or waffles. All dishes include a selection of breakfast meats, fruits and vegetables, and homemade baked goods. We can accommodate your special dietary needs or preferences (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, food allergies, or lactose intolerance). Just let us know prior to your arrival! Cookies, Coffee and Tea…and moreThroughout the day, guests can help themselves to fresh coffee, tea and spring water. Each afternoon, homemade treats are offered for guests to enjoy. Beer and WineIn May 2004, the Lang House was granted a license to serve beer and wine, and we offer a variety of wines and locally brewed beer for purchase, as well as a selection of appetizers. According to Vermont liquor regulations, while the Lang House has a beer and wine license in force, guests are not allowed to bring their own beer and wine into the inn. Call us if you have any questions about our beer and wine offerings. Each guest room is stocked with water and wine glasses, an ice bucket and a corkscrew/bottle opener. |
