You deserve the best in comfort and convenience during your Burlington travel getaway, and we are committed to meeting your needs in every way possible! We have an online concierge service where guests can order in advance of their arrival such amenities as: wine, flowers, chocolates and breakfast in bed. The Lang House offers a full range of event planning services and we are pleased to recommend and make restaurant reservations for our guests.  We can make  suggestions for activities in and around Burlington, Vermont Inn.

Guestrooms
All guestrooms have private baths and are well stocked with soap, shampoo, lotion, towels, hair dryer, complimentary bottled water and the current Select Registry guide book.  Each guestroom has wine glasses, water glasses, an ice bucket and a corkscrew / bottle opener.

Also hanging in each guestroom are Lang House robes, which guests can enjoy during their stay (they are also for sale).
Additionally we can provide an iron and ironing board, and we keep a small stock of personal supplies in the event guests find themselves without toothbrushes, etc.
Each room has an air conditioner and thermostat for heat regulation, to keep your room at a temperature comfortable for you.

All guestrooms have a telephone (local calls are free of charge), small television with cable service, dial-up and/or wireless Internet access, and alarm clocks.

We are very children friendly.  A portable crib is available, and we can set up cots in some guestrooms. The Garden Spa and Tuttle room can accommodate three guests, while McClurkin can accommodate 4 guests (in two beds). Off-street parking is provided for guests in our private lot just behind the main house.

Breakfast
We serve breakfast between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. in the first floor Dining Room and Sun Porch.

Three breakfast options are available every morning including  an egg dish which might be herb scrambled, poached, fried or souffléd; a sweet offering such as pancakes, French toast, crepes or waffles; or homemade low-fat granola served with a Vermont organic yogurt and fresh fruit. All dishes include a selection of breakfast meats, fruits and vegetables, and homemade baked goods.

We serve what we consider to be delicious Vermont maple syrup.  It is organic and the land on which the sugar bush is located has been placed into land trust by Craig and Cindy Walker.  We highly recommend the Dark Amber syrup for its flavor.  You can call the Walkers at 802-899-3088 to place an order.

We can accommodate your special dietary needs or preferences (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, food allergies, or lactose intolerance). Just let us know prior to your arrival!

Cookies, Coffee and Tea…and more
Throughout the day, guests can help themselves to fresh coffee, tea and spring water. Each afternoon, homemade treats are offered for guests to enjoy.

Beer and Wine
As a convenience to our guests, the Lang House has a license to sell and serve beer and wine.  We offer a variety of wines and locally brewed beer for purchase.  We also offer for sale a cheese and fruit plate, which is comprised of Vermont cheeses, seasonal fruits and crackers, and sometimes for fun and with advance notice from guests, deviled eggs or homemade roasted almonds or pecans.

According to Vermont liquor regulations, while the Lang House has a beer and wine license in force, guests are not allowed to bring their own beer and wine into the inn. Call us if you have any questions about our beer and wine offerings.
