Welcome to the Lang House on Main Street, an 11-room Burlington Bed and Breakfast Inn. The Lang House on Main Street was built as a private residence in 1881 in the prestigious Hill Section neighborhood of Burlington, VT. Converted to a B&B in 2000, the Lang House offers eleven rooms with beautiful period furnishings and private baths.
Whether you are visiting for business or pleasure, you will find our Burlington, Vermont bed and breakfast accommodations comfortable and convenient, our staff gracious and welcoming, and our gourmet breakfasts planned to meet your schedule. We are committed to making your stay with us perfect in every way!
Just 3 miles from Burlington International Airport (BTV), the Lang House on Main Street is conveniently located between the University of Vermont (UVM) and downtown Burlington. It’s a short walk to the UVM or Champlain College campuses. Also within walking distance are the Lake Champlain waterfront (we are seven blocks east of Lake Champlain) and Burlington’s downtown, including the Flynn Theatre, galleries, museums, restaurants, shops and the Church Street Marketplace (a 4-block thriving city center made for walking and browsing Burlington’s eclectic mix of shops and eateries).
The Lang House on Main Street is also available for hosting and catering your event. Consider our gracious setting and menus for receptions, showers, luncheons, dinners, and small group retreats.
At the Lang House, we combine 19th century charm with 21st century service. We look forward to your visit!

It is mid November and nothing about this month is typical. We can usually count on November being the cloudiest month of the year. Not this year! We are enjoying sunny, mild days. The wind has kicked up, but it is warm. Some confused Canadian geese were seen flying east last week.
Come visit!
We offer on-the-spot, unadvertised specials.

Thanksgiving is fast approaching and we look forward to sharing that holiday with our guests.
Chanukah and Christmas holidays follow Thanksgiving quickly (too quickly for some!). If you are looking for something out of the ordinary to give as a present, consider our comfy Lang House robes or coffee mugs. A gift certificate is always a welcome and flexible gift. Gift certificates can be purchased in increments of $100 (our gift certificates do not expire).
